We (Kathleen Adams and David Swift, Co-Founders) left one of the nation’s largest Registered Investment Advisory firms to launch Second 50 Financial. We predominantly cater to those who are approaching or in their second 50 years of life and are often faced with making very big, important decisions. They have recognized the need for strategic financial management to ensure the longevity and efficiency of their hard-earned wealth.
At Second 50 Financial, we operate on a simple philosophy: We must understand what is most important to you and gain complete clarity around your current as well as future financial picture to enable superior wealth management. Through our objective financial planning service, we clarify together the most important goals for these investments thus arming our clients with the critical insights they need about their financial future.

At Second 50 Financial, we begin our process with an "Ask Us Anything" initial consultation. This meeting is designed for us to get to know each other and to see if our services are aligned with your financial goals and needs. During this consultation, you can ask any questions about our services, our approach, and certainly discuss any pressing concerns or goals. It's a transparent and confidential discussion aimed at learning more about each other.
SECOND 50 READINESS MEETING
The next step will be a Second 50 Readiness Meeting, where we use advanced software to begin an assessment of your financial situation. This meeting is designed to provide clarity on your financial picture from an asset and financial security standpoint to see if our services are a good fit. The visual assessment is the first step in establishing a foundational framework for your financial future. This meeting is complimentary with no obligation to engage; we strictly adhere to our confidentiality and privacy policies.

COMPREHENSIVE FLAT FEE
LIFESTYLE PRESERVATION PLANNING
We call it the Lifestyle Preservation Plan because it is specifically designed to help you maintain and protect your current lifestyle as you transition through different stages of your financial journey.
Offered for a flat fee, with no required asset management, Lifestyle Preservation Planning involves a comprehensive review of your financial needs, goals and dreams. Plans are customized as needed to include elements such as strategic distribution plans, liquidity management, gifting and charitable strategies, tax mitigation, asset protection, and more. In coordination with other trusted professionals we help you make informed decisions that you don't want to make alone. This engagement typically lasts 6-12 weeks.
Upon completing your financial plan and receiving our recommendations, you will have the option to engage with us for our investment management services, which include ongoing planning and support or implement independently from us.
WEALTH MANAGEMENT WITH ONGOING FINANCIAL PLANNING
Our ongoing planning and wealth management services are integral to our clients' financial success. Included in our wealth management fee, this phase represents an evolving journey that requires consistent updates and monitoring. We adapt to changes in our clients' personal and financial circumstances, as well as shifts in the market and broader investment landscape.
Consistent meetings are a key aspect of this ongoing process, with the frequency and timing tailored to each client's needs and significant life events. This includes aspects of wealth preservation planning, ensuring not just the growth but also the protection of our clients' assets. Our strategies go beyond conventional approaches, incorporating innovative techniques and tools to safeguard and enhance our clients' wealth.
Collaboration with our clients' other professional advisors remains a high priority. By working closely with tax advisors, legal advisors, real estate professionals, and insurance experts, etc. we create impactful financial strategies that are meaningfully designed to align with the goals uncovered in your plan.

While our allocation to stocks may be lower due to our belief in alternatives, we believe this allows us to take larger, concentrated, and convicted positions through our 12-stock strategy, executed in partnership with Kingsview Investment Management and CIO Scott Martin. Without greater conviction, owning indexes makes sense, as they offer broad market exposure and reduce individual stock risk. However, our approach aims to provide greater opportunities for outperforming the indexes and allows for greater flexibility in sector exposure, enabling us to be both offensive and defensive. Bonds
